Privacy notice
Last updated 19 September 2026
This notice explains how Navya Systems (“we”) handles personal data on this website and in the iMetricSchool product. It is written in plain language; if anything is unclear, ask us.
This website
When you fill in the contact form we store what you enter — your name, school, role, email, phone, country, school size and message — so that we can reply to you. We use it for nothing else, and we do not sell it.
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
The product: who is responsible
When a school uses iMetricSchool, the school decides what data about its students, parents and staff is entered and why. The school is responsible for that data, and we process it on the school’s behalf to provide the service.
What the product stores
- Records the school enters: students, guardians, staff, attendance, marks, fees, health notes, transport and messages.
- Account information for people who sign in, and an audit log of sensitive actions.
- Technical data needed to run the service securely, such as sign-in attempts.
Services a school can switch on
Some features send data to a third-party service only when the school configures them: online payments, SMS, email, WhatsApp and push notifications to its users’ devices, and AI features that use the school’s own OpenAI, Google or Anthropic account. AI features are off by default.
Keeping data separate and secure
Each school’s data is kept separate from every other school’s, access is controlled by role, and our hosted service uses encrypted connections. More detail is on our security page.
Access, export and deletion
A school administrator can export all of the school’s data at any time. Parents, students and staff should contact their school first about their data; we will help the school respond. To ask us about data from this website, use the contact form.
Changes
We will update this notice when our practices change and show the date of the latest version above.
